Baruch Dayan HaEmet - Sara Mittleman

Sadly, we are informing the community of the death of Sara R. Mittelman. Sara was the sister of Amy Mittelman, the sister-in-law of Aaron Berman, and aunt of Louis, Alan, Taber, Louise, Terry and Greg.

There will be funeral service Sunday 3/9 in New York.
A Shiva service will be held at Amy's house, and on zoom, on Tuesday March 11 at 7pm.

Amy will also be sitting shiva in her home on Wednesday 3/12 and Thursday 3/13, guests are welcome on those days between 2-4pm.

Baruch Dayan HaEmet - Rita Kropf

Sadly, we are informing the community of the death of longtime JCA-member Rita Kropf.

We offer our condolences to her children: Aaron and Jana, Noel and Judy, and Julie and Zvi, as well as her sister Sophie. We share our sorrow also with her grandchildren, Aleeza, Benna, Sophie, Dalia, Elie, Zion, Maayan, Liela, Kinneret and Shoshie, her fifteen great-grandchildren in Israel, and her nieces, nephews and cousins in Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Nevada and California.

The funeral service will take place at the Jewish Community of Amherst Tuesday, February 25, at 11am. Due to snow and ice conditions at the cemetery, we ask that only the family attend the burial following the service.
Shiva will take place at Aaron Kropf's home on Wednesday, 4:30pm to 7:30pm with Minyan at 6:15pm.50 Mount Pleasant in Amherst.
