How would like your feedback to help shape an important documentary film?

Bonnie Waltch and long-time JCA member Sara Schley, the producers of BrainStorm, a film about the bipolar spectrum, are inviting you to participate in a virtual focus group screening of the one-hour-and-twenty-minute (1:20) cut followed by a conversation with the filmmakers to find out what is and isn’t working in the film. BrainStorm is a mix of compelling personal stories and cutting-edge science stories about the various causes of bipolar disorder, plus breakthrough treatment and healthy practices. We’re speaking with PBS about a possible broadcast some time in late 2025.
We’re planning to hold the event on Zoom the evening of Monday, March 31st from 7:00-9:00 pm. We will screen the 1:20 cut, followed by a 40 minute discussion afterwards. Your feedback is critical for us to make the film as strong and clear as it can be!
