He will offer a brief history of Jews in South Africa including their relations with the English and Afrikaners, Jewish values and apartheid, his mother’s Holocaust history and relationship with Israel, facing violent antisemitism, the Zionism of the times, and the buildup to the Six Day war in 1967.
