Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat

From the Rabbi -- In addition to the Gala itself, taking place on Sunday evening, I wanted to put in a special plug for the Friday night, May 17th, special Shabbat Ne'imah service. In addition to the usual opportunity to join with our band for a festive, highly musical Kabbalat Shabbat service, we will also be making use of the evening to honor the many volunteers who have contributed so much time and energy to making the JCA the warm and participatory community that it is. 

Whether you are a volunteer and/or want to express deep gratitude for the work of volunteers, please come along and join us for the service, the meal, and appreciative remarks delivered by me and other JCA leaders.

And, unlike the Gala, the Friday night event is free-for-all, with no registration required.
