This year, JCA Mitzvah Day will include two food donation drives!
1. Rachel's Table works to alleviate hunger and reduce food waste in Western Massachusetts. Please bring a food donation item of any sort to the JCA Mitzvah morning breakfast to support the important work that Rachel's Table does. There will be a donation box available.
2. The Amherst Survival Center is an unparalleled resource in bringing food justice to our town. The JCA will once again sponsor a food drive at Stop and Shop in Hadley on Mitzvah Day. Our Spring food drive has made a positive impact at the Survival Center for years.
Examples of projects we will be working on together:
Cemetery clean up
Garden prep
Singing at an assisted living facility
Challah bake for the community
Food Drive at Stop and Shop

PLEASE NOTE, ALL PROJECTS WILL MEET AT THE JCA FIRST BEFORE GOING TO THEIR RESPECTIVE SITES.
