How are we obligated to each other? What does obligation really mean? 
Julia will be teaching a class that asks the questions: how are we obligated to each other? What are the boundaries of that? Does the Jewish framework of obligation help us live our lives the way we want to? The course will look at pieces of Midrash, Talmud, Tanakh, and more to think about obligation in some of its many contexts: G-d, Torah, community, self, those who came before us, and those who will come after us.
