Description

Chaverai, the Young Adult* Initiative of the JCA
Dinner & D'var
Thursday, April 10, 6:30-8:00pm

This month's theme:  There are multiple meanings and purposes behind the Passover holiday that we don't have time to explore at the seder, but we don't talk about the rest of the year. What are the many layers of Passover (that we can think of)? Let's touch on Passover astrology, kabbalah, social practicality, Marie Kondo...and more? An extended passover discussion, but we won't have to wait to eat!

We'll gather over a shared vegetarian meal, then have a loosely facilitated discussion about Torah, Talmud, halakha, prayer, holidays, traditions, or other Jewish topics.

No prior knowledge required. We're excited for the questions, insights, experience, confusion, wisdom, tangential information, arguments, or whatever else you bring to the table.

If you're interested in leading a future Dinner & D'var or are planning to come and have any dietary restrictions, please email Emmett: [email protected] so that we can accommodate you.

*"Young adult" here meaning ages 20-40.
