The book we will be reading is “Songs for the Brokenhearted" : a novel by Ayelet Tsabari

Elissa Rubinstein has read the book and recommended it. The reviews via Amazon were praising: “The prose is lush and gorgeous. Tsabari's compassion for all her characters, in their full complexity, took my breath away. I was sad and furious and delighted and hopeful at different times. Just so powerful and human on every level.”

While it’s a relatively new book, it is available in all formats and there are many copies available at the local library.
