The JCA will have two concurrent Community Tu Bishvat Seder options
5:30-6:30 on Wednesday February 12
Option #1
no registration required
A deconstructed active seder activity with self-guided stations representing the various parts of the seder. Explore different fruits, and the meaning of the Tu Bishvat seder in this hands on activity designed for kids and adults of all ages.
Join Rabbi Deb Kolodny for an evening of engaging discussion and joyful song on Tu B'Shvat, the New Year of the Trees. We'll sing some tree centered Hebrew chants along with modern songs and golden oldies as we journey through the mystical four worlds of theTu B'Shvat seder (not to mention eating some seeds and fruits and a light dinner). But this evening won't just be focused on the world around us and on 'performing' the seder. At this holy time of year, when the tree sap begins to flow, we will tap into the flow of our own potential.
