Girls in Trouble Concert: Bringing Biblical Women to Life through Song and Storytelling

Come be mesmerized by a live performance with nationally-acclaimed artist and Jewish educator Alicia Jo Rabins. Her Girls in Trouble project is a series of indie-folk, bluegrass-inflected songs that interpret the lives of Biblical women in all their complexity. Using her “gorgeous voice” (New York Times), plucked violin, a loop pedal, and guitar, Alicia Jo Rabins weaves music and poetry together into beautiful, haunting songs and poems that “walk the line between mythic and contemporary” (Forward).
