A 6-week immersive introductory course with Steve Weiner, a licensed teacher who has 35 years of teaching ASL! In addition to basic ASL, you will learn signs for Jewish related words.

Learning sign language is not just a skill; it is a necessity in today's America. With an estimated 48 million Americans experiencing some form of hearing loss, including 11 million who are deaf or hard of hearing, sign language bridges communication gaps. Consider that 13% of the U.S. population over 12 years old has bilateral hearing loss and 2 - 4 out of every 1,000 Americans are functionally deaf, learning sign language becomes imperative for inclusive communication!
