The JCA will be joining synagogues across the country in observing the annual Repro Shabbat which falls this year on our regular Shabbat B‘yachad - young adults welcome as always!
Repro Shabbat takes place annually on the Shabbat when we read Parshat Mishpatim because it contains the verses commonly used as the foundation of Judaism’s approach to reproductive health, rights and justice. Although we will be celebrating it a few weeks later this year, it still provides us a moment to highlight Judaism’s support for reproductive freedom and to come together as a community to talk about bodily autonomy and reproductive health care. We hope you'll join us Friday evening for special prayers and an update on the state of reproductive access in Massachusetts and beyond.
